This photo was taken from the show home sun deck on the

6th August 2009.

The summer rains have started and you can see how the grass has grown and everywhere has turned green.

The local people have cleared Plot 4 and planted maize and corn. This is typical in The Gambia, most land owners allow the local people to farm areas that are not being used for construction. The crops will grow quickly with the rain, sun and heat.

Harvesting will over in 2 months time.
